Other Ways to Support
Fan Committee
The primary strategic objectives are to work with the Committee to provide excellent fan experiences, particularly in our revenue generating sports. It is important for the members of the Panthers Fan Experience Committee to have full ownership in identifying the areas that are important to them. With this said, we may want to provide the charge for the Committee to diagnose and focus on areas that Pitt Athletics directly affects our fans/customers and their experiences with us.
The Panthers Fan Experience committee is comprised of Pitt alumni, students and supporters who work with Pitt Athletics in creating the very best fan experiences on game days and throughout the year. The committee members serve a voluntary two-year term and convene quarterly.
The committee's focus includes, but is not limited to:
- Customer Service
- Ticketing and Donor Support
- The Pitt Fan Experience – including all aspects of their game-day experience
- Athletic department communication and outreach with fans
We are currently at capacity and not accepting new submissions. Please check back.
Wheels of Support
The University of Pittsburgh Athletic Department participates with automobile dealerships in an athletic courtesy car program called Wheels of Support.
Wheels of Support participants play an integral role in promoting the University of Pittsburgh sports programs in the areas of recruiting, public relations and fundraising. The automobiles they provide allow our coaches and administrators to visit hundreds of prospective student-athletes and fans each year.
The University of Pittsburgh Athletic Department expresses its sincere appreciation to the following automobile dealers and their representatives for their participation in the Wheels of Support program.
